Herman Sontrop is a product owner and frontend developer at FRISS Analytics, a company creating products to combat fraud and assist with risk and compliance for insurers worldwide. Herman was an early adopter of the Shiny package for creating web-based applications in R, and that passion led him to explore the world of JavaScript and developing powerful front-end applications, a core part of this current role today.
